Day 09 – A Book You Thought You Wouldn’t Like But Ended Up Loving

I first saw this book at a scholastic book fair that set up in the library of my school. I had really wanted to learn to knit but I did not want my friends to make fun of me or for the people at the cash register to know that I wanted to learn to knit. I wanted to be my own person but I did not want anyone to see who that person was. It does not make sense now and it did not really  make sense then but that is what I thought. My big idea was to cover up the purchase of the learn to knit kit by buying a book. This book happened to be right above where the knitting kit was and since I was looking for so long in that area and I had enough money for both I bought both. I ended up reading the book and really liking it. I know that there is a sequel to the book but I have yet to get around to reading it.
